Lymphomas of the skin are uncommon:
- Skin lymphomas account for only about 4% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
The 绿帽社’s most recent estimates for all types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in the United States for 2025 are:
- 80,350 new cases of NHL (45,140 in men and 35,120 in women)
- 19,390 deaths from NHL (11,060 in men and 8,330 in women)
The rate of skin lymphomas has been rising over the past few decades, although it seems to have leveled off in recent years. The reasons for this are not known.
Survival rates for skin lymphomas can vary a great deal, depending on the type of lymphoma, how advanced it is, and how well it responds to treatment.
